Skateboarding : Pop Shuvit

This video shows you how to do another skateboarding trick - "pop shuvit". It isn't as difficult as it may look like. All you have to do is to learn ollie and it's also recommended to learn to turn around (180°). So basically pop shuvit is when the board spins 180 degrees under you (without you) and then you land on your board. Let's watch!

Skateboarding : How to do an ollie?

Everyone wants to start off with difficult tricks such as heel flips, kick flips, popshuvits and so on. But the thing you have to learn first is the ollie (apart from standing on the skateboard and pushing off). If you are good at doing ollie, you'll be good at other tricks too because most of them are based on the ollie.

Basically what you need to do is to have your front foot roughly in the middle of the board...

Inline Skating : Inline Skating

Inline skating
Inline skates usually have 4 or 5 wheels, arranged in a single line. Most commonly, if they have a stop, it is a heel stop. Inline skating is often done on the road, sidewalk, various street furnishings like fences and steps, and on special tracks and areas. Some inline skaters compete in artistic skating events, though quads are still more typical for that use. Inline skates for artistic use tend to be designed more as an analog of the ice skate or artistic quad skate design, with a toe stop and rockered wheels.

Skateboarding : What is Skateboarding?

Skateboarding

Skateboarding is the act of riding on and performing tricks with a skateboard. A person who skateboards is referred to as a skateboarder, skater or "shredder".

Skateboarding is a recreational activity, a job, or a method of transportation. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. A 2002 report by American Sports Data found that there were 18.5 million skateboarders in the world. 85% of skateboarders polled who had used a board in the last year were under the age of 18, and 74% were male.

Skateboarding is relatively modern. A key skateboarding trick, the ollie, was only developed in the late 1970s. This ollie was used only on vertical ramps on flat ground. A decade later, freestyle skateboarder Rodney Mullen invented the kickflip which before was called a Magic Flip.
