Everyone wants to start off with difficult tricks such as heel flips, kick flips, popshuvits and so on. But the thing you have to learn first is the ollie (apart from standing on the skateboard and pushing off). If you are good at doing ollie, you'll be good at other tricks too because most of them are based on the ollie.
Basically what you want to do is have your front foot roughly in the middle of the board, just a little bit more towards the front of the bolts, have your back foot close to the end of the tail and what you need to do is you want to put pressure on the tail, so that it falls back and once you feel that it hits the ground you want to slide your front foot forward and your front foot is going to catch in the nose and it is going to start to go up and what you just need to even out in the middle in the air and just bring it back down. Make sure to keep your balance pretty steady because if you don’t you are probably just going to fall off and make sure that you don’t twist your shoulders because if you do, your feet will probably move off the board in mid-air.
Good luck!
